PINTO provided structural design, project management, and construction administration services for a second floor extension to an existing laboratory located in the Burnside industrial Park. No new columns could be introduced into the existing space so the challenge was to span new interior steel beams over fifty feet and support them on the outside of the building. The following elements were included in the design: reinforced concrete footings, structural steel floor framing, and timber floor framing. Project completed in 2011.
